In 2017 we have a eminent former Secretary Of State for Health Andy Burnham calling for a "Hillsborough" Inquiry into the "Industrial Scale" of Contaminated Blood HCV and HBV NHS infections. Asking the newly elected next May Government to answer key questions and needs for those infected or put at risk.
Considerations
30 to 40 years after the fact we are running out of time to find Justice for those affected. The Diagnosed and those in need of Diagnosis cannot wait another 6 years for a solution, too many have died already for us to waste their time again.
We need a quick Inquiry to prove 3 salient Needs
- Admission of the scale of Infections of HBV and HCV in the UK NHS from healthcare
- Action is needed to mass test those in deadly danger
- Immediate care and recompense for those with infections must be made available
We will foot a far larger bill in Liver Disease and Death unless we start making the Truth about Hepatitis C public knowledge.
At the end of the day patients trusted their doctors and Healthcare experts to tell the truth not mass expose them to a deadly virus then lie for 26 years and deny them the very truths that could save their lives.
